Many students feel Parental pressures and school-work responsibilities, the major cause for their stress and depression. Sometimes their stress level shows severe adverse impact on their academic performance and gradually this lead to depression, anxiety, and insomnia among them.
However, sporadic stress is an inevitable part of everyday life. Small amounts of stress can even have a constructive effect, as it allow us to move forward when we stumble upon a difficult chore. However, high levels of stress over a prolonged period of time are related to increased rates of depression, anxiety, and other acute issues.
This makes it important to learn- ‘how to manage stress’. Here, I am providing you some tips to manage “STRESS”. The following points will introduce you the stress management tips.
1. Identifying situation or factor causing stress will half the battle- Yes! knowing the factor will help you systematize your work and this gradually let you become dynamic and enthusiastic.
2. Systematize your work- By keeping academic notes prearranged, and keeping track of all target, stress can be lessened to a great amount.
3. Time management- time management is one of the most effective and positive stress-mitigating methods. Students should frame or design a timetable and stick to it strictly. But,Yes! You should choose a fewbreak between work and study.
4. Take exercise outside and stimulate your mind as well as your body- Exposure to the sun’s rays releases a hormone called ‘serotonin’ in the brain. This improves your mood and help you to feel composed and focused.
5. Don’t put too many eggs in one basket- You should not concentrate on several areas at one time. Rather, you take one step at one time.
6. Do what you love to do – This will help you stay happy. Because,the key to quick stress relief is “Happiness”
